Twenty-one Coraline Jones- dressed in a black gown with a dark blue cloak- walked through the gates of the local cemetery as she held a bouquet of roses, her medium-length midnight blue hair blowing in the wind. It had been ten years since since her parents had died in a fatal car crash. When that terrible event came to pass, the girl felt like her whole world had turned upside down.
"Little Jonesy thought of everything and nothing. Her mother and father promised her that they would send her the Angel of Music." Coraline murmured to herself as she stepped further into the cemetery, "Her parents promised her... Her parents promised her..."
As she walked past a tombstone with a statue of the Virgin Mary, Coraline began to sing a little song.
Coraline: You were once
my one companions . . .
you were all
that mattered . . .
You were once
a mother and father -
then my world
was shattered . . .
The young woman soon passed under a stone arch as she continued to sing. After doing so, it began to snow around her.
Coraline: Wishing you were
somehow here again . . .
wishing you were
somehow near . . .
Sometimes it seemed
if I just dreamed,
somehow you would
be here . . .
As Coraline passed by a tombstone with a mounted angel, she couldn't help but sigh. It reminded her of her parents' promise of sending her the Angel of Music. That, in turn, made her think of the Opera "Ghost", Tai Lung. Shaking it off, the woman with blue hair continued her trek into the cemetery.
Coraline:Wishing I could
hear your voices again . . .
knowing that I
never would . . .
Dreaming of you
won't help me to do
all that you dreamed
I could . . .
While she passed more tombstones with sculpted angels and bells, it depressed her even more. It all made her think not only of Tai Lung, but also her future husband, Wybourn "Wybie" Lovalt. True, she had cared dearly for the poor beast, but she loved Wybie with all of her heart.
Coraline: Passing bells
and sculpted angels,
cold and monumental,
seem, for you,
the wrong companions -
you were warm and gentle . . .
Walking on, Coraline felt tears flow up in her eyes. She had missed her deceased parents very dearly. But she knew that nothing was going to bring them back, not even wishing.
Coraline: Too many years
fighting back tears . . .
Why can't the past
just die?!
Coraline soon reached her destination in the cemetery. Standing a few feet before her was a mausoleum; the mausoleum that contained her parents that had been there for ten years. Engraved on the huge crypt were two dedications.
Charles Jones
Husband and Father
1974-2009
Melanie "Mel" Jones
Wife and Mother
1975-2009
Coraline: Wishing you were
somehow here again . . .
knowing we must
say goodbye . . .
Try to forgive . . .
teach me to live . . .
give me the strength
to try . . .
Once she stopped before the mausoleum, the young woman lay the roses at the door of the crypt. While doing so, she knelt in place as she was on the verge of sobbing.
Coraline: No more memories,
no more silent tears . . .
No more gazing across
the wasted years . . .
Help me say
goodbye.
Help me say
Goodbye!

To get real Chaos Emeralds, you just need to find a store that stock candles and house decoration kind of stuff.

Look, I understand Kenny's Grandmother has just passed away and I respect and understand that, but writing songfics is not a cure-for-all

-just before fighting Mohs-
Me: All right! We get to fight the big, scary monster Balloon Mohs! I bet you anything he's going to explode when we beat him!
-after the battle-
Mohs: -melts-
Me: ...Well, THAT was sure anticlimactic.
Also, you are aware that songfics aren't the answer for everything, right? He should get over it on his own and not have the aid of a songfic to get over it.
And I'm with Wormtail on this. Why does it seem like you're writing a new songfic for every new movie that you like? It kinda ruins it for everybody else, at least that's my opinion.
Of course this is going to be ignored, so why am I wasting my breath? *sighs* Oh well... enjoy your time on Planet DBV with all your kiss up friends.
